So like.. there's a substory for this and it's the intro to the portable playlist and the tutorial tells you to check it out every chapter since it updates... but it has no english subtitles? Seems like a very odd decision. Either hoping I'm blind and not seeing the subs or that RGG gives us some kind of transcription of the dialogue

just found out. Hopefully sega fixes it and provides us with subtitles for the podcast. Would also like to know if someone here is playing with english VA so they can tell us if it’s voiced in english.

not that it would change anything to me because i prefer japanese VA and english subtitles.

You're not blind, don't think there are any. Scoured the menus to make sure I wasn't missing something.
Hopefully it's something they can add. I would love to actually listen (or read, I suppose) and understand.

As it currently stands, there seems to be a Japanese show, and an English show, and neither one displays subtitles because it counts as music/radio. So I guess everyone who isn't bilingual is supposed to miss out

To be fair, that's how the talk radio stations in GTA feel like to everyone who doesn't speak english. It's a shame but eh, it is what it is.

Are we losing something important? I doubt that radio gonna talk about actual movies like titanic, indiana jones or avatar

Well if you listen to the English program, and then listen to the Japanese program, I heard the names of some of the same restaurants shouted out. So my best guess is they cover the same material but it's different characters having different conversations about the same subjects.

Well if you listen to the English program, and then listen to the Japanese program, I heard the names of some of the same restaurants shouted out. So my best guess is they cover the same material but it's different characters having different conversations about the same subjects.

Pretty much this. Segwaves is the one you're supposed to listen to as English speaker, and its basically the same thing except Hawaiian themed.

I feel like the name or tooktip should've clarify that. Glad to know that the Japanese is Wette and Wild too
