Isn't FSR3 frame generation supposed to work only on RTX and RX cards?

What black magic did RGG use? I cna enable it on my GTX1650 and it actually works, I'm getting 100+ FPS. It's crazy.

DLSS is available on RTX cards, FSR is for all cards, it doesn't have to be Nvidia RTX and that's why people praise FSR 3 because free Frame Generation instead of being locked behind RTX 4000s series

Exactly my point. Even AMD themselves said it would only work on RTX20 onwards. Call of Duty doesn't allow Frame Gen to be enabled on GTX but this game allows it. That's why I'm so confused.

it works on GTX series cards but is not fully supported. That is all, and that is why they said 20 series and beyond.

Hey man, what's the rest of your specs?
My laptop has the same gpu and I wanna buy this game if I can confirm that it will run at least ok on low-medium settings.

gtx 1650, i run it on medium. at fsr3 frame gen quality its runs 70-90, without it it drops to 39-ish in heavy enviroments

It's also worse though, I tried FSR-FG on my RTX 4090 and it stutters a little bit and has some ghosting. Went back to DLSS-FG and the issues are gone, but there's a bug that prevents you from picking up items in this game that's why some people are switching over to FSR-FG for now.

Though there is a workaround for the bug which is to open the world map/pause menu, close it and then quickly mash the pickup item prompt.

I have i5-9300H, the performance we get should be quite similar so I'll definitely get this game in the future, the performance is much better than I could've ever dreamed of ahaha
