PLEASE tell me people are NOT OK with this stuff!!!??

[General M-13 / Vindya Miriel]

€158,81 worth of DLC from day of Release, New Game + locked behind an ADDITIONAL paywall.... this is greedy as hell.
This game wasn't even on my radar and now it never will be,
I am not sure if this was Sega's decision or the game's devs, but i am not gonna support stuff like this.
Sorry if this makes me sound like a bigget but i gotta draw a line somewhere and this practice stepped over it massively (and yes it's prolly not the only game/dev/publisher doing it, but if i find more games like this, those are going on my blacklist too.)

The game comes released with DLC's in the form of boosters, which means not ONLY it was churned out in LESS then a year time, it's also been DESIGNED around the use of said boosters.
Which means that they are trying to pad the game for time and those impatient will either have to cheat their way around it or grab their wallets.

If you don't agree with this statement, by all means you do you, but i hold myself to higher standards and do not want to support practices like this.

But why i made this EDIT:
I've seen some pretty harsh language flying around, PLEASE treat eachother with respect people, acting up against eachother with insults and such will only derail the conversations and get people banned.

EDIT 3: To make my point a bit more clear: NO i am not saying this game is bad, i never did.
I just do not agree with the NG+ behind a paywall part and the crapton of DLC on launch.
Always support your favourite devs/games!
If the game is good (which it seems it is, since 90% of reviews seem positive) it's all good, but do consider that saying yes to these practices now might make it standard (look at the oblivion horse armor for example)
The diffence between that and this is that the horse armor was not basic gameplay functionality and NG+ and difficulty levels ARE.
This is (mostly) why i made this post, no you do not have to a agree with me on this notion, you do you.
Just keep it civil, i never personally attacked anyone in my topics and/or reactions and i've been insulted in this thread more times then i'd like.

It's not worth the price, yes. However, the vast majority of it is either cosmetics, or level/resource boosts. They really do not add much in the way of content. There's one that locks NG+ behind it, but someone like me doesn't care for NG+.

The majority of the DLC is a boost in game which you don't need to buy, a few is content from the other editions extra sujimon etc.

NG+ was called Premium Adventure in the other games and were old DLC when the games were originally released, they were included with the PC releases.

Did you even check what that DLC was all about or did you just see the total and jump the gun?

your not suposed to buy all the level boost and ressource boost. i don't like those but you can't count them like that.

one of those is technicly free if you singed up to their newsletter whit a burner account, the rest are just pointless boosters, you know the game could indeed be cheaper, but still got it despite it its the only i game i would do it for as square enix can go screw themselves asking 70 for 1/3 parts of a game but at least this game has more houres of content

Owh and some game studios are already planning on making you pay 100 USD for a base game at some point.... better get ready for that stuff XD

nha if ti becomes a grindfest you can always use wemod remember that, ik the previous like a dragon had specific grind dungeons that leveled you up to par, remember the rpg is based of ichiban seeign the world liek dragon quest and if the billboard men return that is your metal/gold slimes. Anyway i dotn think sega and square nor rockstar even are gonna change their mind on prices that what inflation and greediness does to pricings

I wouldn't say it's a grindfest or anything but it's a jrpg through and through, takes a bit to do things, the boosters are to save people time I guess? but there were boosters for the LAD7 and I think even Ishin, so I guess since they are still around maybe people do buy them? The whole NG+ behind a paywall kinda sucks, but hopefully enough people don't bite the bullet and buy it so they hold off from doing that in the future.

you better believe it does wemod usually has cheat for everything and they cant get you whit it either so really the most important part is to have fun and tell yourself was it worth spendign my money on this or not, still not fine whit the price myself but i got it anyway you can still pirate it too you know, that is the only way to show em you are not fine whit it. anyway just wait for sale honestly i think sega does do alot of good sales during the years, that i do give em, not the first time i got something dirt cheap on sale.

Or just farm the boosters in game. I mean theoretically you could combine them with the item that stopped enemy spawns to minimise combat down to the scripted enemies, but I've no idea why you'd want to do that unless you really loved Sega darts or something.
