Japanese Audio?

Anyone else getting English audio despite selecting Japanese?

Tried changing to English then back to Japanese, it's still in English.

The very intro part of the game is English, as in, by design. The problem i'm having now is my emotes are in english instead of japanese.

English people still talk in English even with Japanese audio. I was socked at the prologue, thought that I chose wrongly lol.

I think the intro part is meant to be english since I skipped a few cutscenes to test it out, they do speak japanese afterward

Strangely enough, that only changed text, audio is still english. But I'll take others' word for it and continue passed the beginning scenes.

Well shoot. That makes sense. I know the game took place in Hawaii but it was just extremely jarring hearing english voices in a Yakuza game. Ironically it's still poor dubbing despite being originally english lol

I somehow managed to fix it. In chapter 1 save game select english audio, load the save, select japanese audio, load the save and Kasuga suddenly rememberd he is japanese

I hear english voices on the level up screen even though everything else is japanese

Btw, does the game has "Conversation Log" like in Lost Jugdment? It may be the deciding factor for me between English VO and Original VO.

Its weird, in cutscenes Ichi speaks japanese, but when greeting people or leveling up its English, its bugged.

For anyone having the issue of the level up/emote voices still being in English despite everything else being in Japanese, this fixed it for me.
