You know it , i know it , the large majority of you don't give a damn , all you want is to jack sparrow the game , You are only joining the bandwagon to complain about the DRM , because it most likely means you won't be able to snatch it for free anytime soon.
Theres millions of DLs on those BT site for a reason . Look at Witcher 3 , Cyberpunk , it BTs had 20m downloads on its launch date.
So yea , whoever you are , I hope you are the former .
Mhm, you mean like Fifa, every year ? THey make billions...
Dead Space remake ? Sold pretty good
There are other examples of games that did pretty well even with scummy surprise mechanics and deluxe editions for 150€
Resident Evil 4 remake...it failed so hard they announced 5 RE and RE9
Paywall ? NG+ most ppl dont even finish games. There are statistics about that. A bonus dungeon ? Say thanks to the ppl that bought the Horse armor. Qoute "TES:Oblivion's horse armour would most likely be one of the first and the time when the whole idea was presented to the gaming at large."
The game will not fail. Would be nice if ppl would look over their own little world and look for sources and proof. But if that would the case we would have atleast 50% less Forums discussions like that.
Well, I'm convinced!
Yeah because your vast 8 game library is keeping the industry afloat right?
Let's be 100% honest, you don't buy your games mostly, you grab torrents etc to play your games - unless you get them for free, I guarantee your Epic account has more titles than your Steam one.
If Denuvo's servers close, Sega will be around for a long time and they will patch the game to be without it, I have heard this excuse for 3 decades now.... "ooooh copyright protections will make me not be able to play my game again etc etc etc"
It will never go away, people in the late 90s cried about disc based protections like Tages, Securom etc and wanted digital, they got it and here we are... the vast majority of customers who buy the games do not get issues with any of the protections, only a very small handful of them have legitimate problems and they usually are helped quickly with Denuvo etc sending them a new binary/exe to use.
The only real majority of people complaining about denuvo are private and low game count accounts, for obvious reasons, they hate the fact they cannot play the games that have it right away for free.
Seems like the people enduring denuvo are the ones suffering from paying through the nose.
Also I hope your "20 year old games" don't include securerom since a bunch of those have been failing to authenticate due to licenses not being renewed; or games with GFWL being discontinued; or... well the web is littered with old games stores dying so... /shrug
