If You Want to Play on a Dualsense Controller
I'm sure a lot of Dualsense owners already know this but I thought I'd share because I had to go digging today. I have a Razer gamepad on its way after I realized the game might not recognize the PS5 controller or just poorly map the buttons (which definitely happens).

Anyways, if you have a PS5 controller and you want to use that, it's pretty easy. Just google DS4Windows and go from there :) It's a simple app you can connect your controller to via Bluetooth and remap the buttons. The default profile just basically turns your controller into an Xbox 360 controller.

Hope this helps.

Something something real yakuza also use PS5 controllers.

Good to know, thanks. I did have some issues with the last game when my xbox controller (kind of) broke and had to switch. Do you know if the button prompts would be accurate or based on an xbox controller? For example, would it tell me to hit X when it meant square?

yeah it should, like a dragon 7 was weird with new controllers because the gen 9 consoles came out the same year. its been 3 years now so every modern controller should work perfectly

For what it's worth Liike a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name worked with a PS5 controller and that came out just a couple of months ago. It was the first Yakuza game I played not on a Playstation and I couldn't tell.

No vibration with the dualsense, dsx emulation is the way to go. (You get the xbone icons tho)

i didn't used ds4windows since more than 5 years now
most game either support dualshock 4/5 natively, either they don't support it natively but support steam input, no need ds4windows
