Just curious what you guys choose I like the dub since I play yakuza 7 but Kiryu is in this game and idk I like is English voice

The dub in Y7 is damn good. Due to the poor performance of Kiryu's VA, imma play this in sub

Subs every time. I've always found it somewhat jarring when you have a room full of high-level Yakuza bosses talking with a Noo Joisey accent.

I've always used the Japanese voice acting since I started with Yakuza 0. Likely always will. Just used to certain characters sounding certain ways by this point.

Sub, quality of Yong's performance aside, I'm too used to Kiryu's Japanese voice.

I don't like things being dubbed in alternative languages full stop. It just doesn't feel right. Subs if needed, but never dubs!

Ichiban English VA was so good in 7. But I prefer Kiryu JP VA. Tough choice.
