Order to play
Hey guys, im trying to figure out the order to play all these games in.. I'm starting with Yakuza 0...

Are the Lost Judgement & Judgment games part of the same series?

Does Gaiden come after Like a dragon? Im just confused lol, if someone doesn't mind to give me a list of games in order that'd be very helpful, thank you!

ichiban Saga
Yakuza Like A Dragon > Gaiden > Infinite Wealth
spin-off Gaiden is a Kiryu game connected to infinite wealth.

Kiryu Saga
Yakuza 0, Yakuza Kiwami, Yakuza Kiwami 2, Yakuza Remastered 3, 4, 5, and Yakuza 6

Lost Judgment & Judgment is the same universe as Yakuza Game

play Kiryu Saga first and then Ichiban Saga.

If you liked the Yakuza/LAD universe, Lost Judgment and Judgment are also worth playing.

I appreciate your time, one last question, what about Ishin? Even though its LAD as well, is it just another spinoff? No direct tie in to any of the other games right?

Ishin is a spin-off and is not connected to other games. If you don't have time, you can skip this game.

Judgment is a spin off series which is referenced in the newer games very lightly and vice versa. From my understanding, and speculation, it was intended to be the main beat-em up spin-off after RGG got a very positive response to a turn based yakuze (originally turning yakuza into a turn based franchise was a April fools joke that fans loved). When trying to put the Judgment games on PC there was rumored to be a contract disputes, but those seemed to be resolved. If you like the beat-em up style of Gaiden and the Kiryu saga its worth playing, but not necessary for IW. At best a few side characters may appear for a easter egg or two, but otherwise they are just set in the same world. I would also say RGG recently said they plan on announcing something later this year in a japanese interview that some reputable fans posted online, so we may get a new judgment game at the end this year or early next. Ishin is a historical spin off that uses models from the main series often having the historical figures characteristics relating to the character they are modeled after. I have yet to play the remake, but most fans of the original say its worse than the original, but still worth a try for fans of the franchise.

time line order would be
0-6, gaiden/judgement (from my understanding these are basically at the same time), LAD, lost judgement, infinite wealth

Quick question. You have the entire internet at your disposal. You could learn anything you wanted with the device you are using right now.

Do you really think nobody has asked this question before?

If you want to play them all play them in this order.

Yakuza 0
Yakuza Kiwami
Yakuza Kiwami 2
Yakuza 3
Yakuza 4
Yakuza 5
Yakuza 6
Judgement
Yakuza: Like a Dragon
Lost Judgement
Like a Dragon: Gaiden
Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth

For Ishin its not even in the same universe so play it whenever. If you get a PSP emulator you can play the PSP games whenever also with their english patches. PS3 Emulator you can play Dead Souls whenever, but its the worst of the bunch.
