Am i the only one who dislike Kiryu's new hairstyle?
I wonder if there is an option to change back to his old hairstyle ingame.

Unlikely. Between the reason why he has it, and how it now almost looks like he's greying from age rather than it being dyed, I suspect we will not be able to change it back (short of any legacy costume DLC adding his grey suit back in too)

considering thats in the mellinium tower, i'm assuming that's nothing more than a flashback to the final mellinium tower ending where kiryu shows up

I'm not sure that the final tower where Kiryu is present as a "summon/ghost" in 7 is considered "canon" really.

he shows up after you beat Amon, saying it was all a test or whatever, and then it transitions from the room to outside the tower, so that scene in the trailer could take part there as they leave to tie in with the story. I highly doubt Kiryu just suddenly regrows his old hair and puts his old suit on again, unless it's during a period of him defying the daidoji in some way.

IK he does, but afaik it is on the substory canon level, rather than the main story canon.

i guess we'll see. as stated, i really struggle to believe Kiryu will just don his old suit again and regrow his old hair back to his prime, especially considering the health issues he was already displaying in the demo.

I still personally think he's not "dyed" his hair grey and its literally just a sign of his old age. Japanese men may tend to fair better on average when it comes to keeping their hair colour with age, but that doesn't mean it entirely stops. He's probably then just kept that instead of dying it black again, and then styled it differently, because of the whole, he can't return to that old identity.

It's very 'young Justin Bieber'.
