Yeah either them or even one of the more unofficial grey stores is where I buy 99% of my games. This will be no different. $115AUD my ass, no idea what the hell Sega is thinking with this nonsense RRP Steam pricing.
I can tell you what they're thinking right now - "We can get away with it." And it's true, they certainly can. Most people are going to pay the full price either because they want to have it now, maybe a physical copy, or their PC isn't powerful enough to run the game smoothly compared to the cheaper console alternatives, or they just aren't aware that they can get a better deal.
It's a really scummy tactic, too. It operates entirely on fear of missing out/getting spoiled, while operating under the guise of "games becoming more expensive to make," as if the development team is getting a raise.
Thanks for the info, I got it on fanatical too. I don't usually buy from fanatical, but I must admit if you're gonna buy a game day 1 anyway, you may as well just take their discounts
