Is this game anything like "Mordor" or "Demise: Rise of the Ku-tan"?

Good game of reference, and yes, there's similarities, but Grimrock seems closer to the Swords and Serpents, Eye of the Beholder, and Theron's Quest style of dungeon delve. There's a lot of puzzles in the dungeon, and the monsters aren't as dense as in Mordor. It's not so much a dungeon expedition as it is a fight for survival.

Incidentally, the Ascension expansion for Demise is available, if you're looking for more Mordor.
