I assume that you just found that Scroll named Fireburst. all it does is to show you how to cast that spell no need to learn it besides from having the neccesary skill high enough. In this case Fire magic. now to casting that spell. just right click one of your mages hands and a 3*3 grid will apear. just click the right runes and then click the thing to the right to cast. seeing what runes you need is also rather easy. Just hover over the Scroll to view them. Have fun.

The "white" scrolls like the Iron Door, are mostly tips or used for puzzles. You cannot use a spell until your magic level matches it's level listed on the spell scroll. I hope this helped.

hey there,

as im new to this game too and i wondered about the magic system as well, 3 more questions:

1) do i have to click the runes every time i cast a spell? is it not possible to cast the last used spell somehow?

2) do you need to find the scrolls so you can use the spells or do you only need to know the rune combination?

3) i´ve seen in some attribut(?)-description, i.e. at arcane lvl5 or so, that you get a "new spell ????". i think i reached one of those tiers and didnt get anything. do i have to find out the possible combination?

thx in advance,
taka

I don't know if there's a way to cast the last spell cast without clicking the runes, so I'll leave to someone else to answer your first question, but I can answer the other two.

You only need to know the rune combination, though you might still want to keep the scrolls detailing the more complicated rune combinations anyway in case you forget.

The "new spell ????" description will change to the name of the appropriate spell once you cast the spell in question for the first time.
