Toorum's Notes

Are they available when playing as Toorum?

Just started my first Toorum run, trying to collect everything. Currently at Pillars of Light, where the first note is supposed to be, but it's not there.

I suppose 'logically' you wouldn't be able to encounter the notes as Toorum, but it's still listed as a collectible in Statistics...

In Vanilla LoG the notes are still there.
In Master Quest however they are in fact gone.

Have you collected them while playing as Toorum?

Playing vanilla, not a mod guy. Have progressed to lvl6 (Trapped) since posting, and have not been able to locate any of the notes where they were supposed to be. Have since concluded they are not present when playing as Toorum...am I wrong?

When i played Toorum the first time in 2012 - 2013 the notes were there while playing him. Now the game received several patches since then so it's possible this was changed later on.
