While playing press ESC -> Tutorial -> 2nd screen, 2nd paragraph: ".. right-click to attack .."

It is good to go through the tutorial! Also right click on the items in your hands to use them. BUT USE THE TUTORIAL!

The tutorial lied. I tried picking the weapon and right clicking but it just goes into the view where you can look around.

OK.

don't right-click anywhere. right-click the weapon once you placed it in a character hand

ps: if you're going for Unarmed Combat, just right-click that characters empty hand

Anybody else finds the combat seem to require a good amount of dexterity? Having to swap between crossbow and bow, use potions fast enough and draw out magic spells everytime you cast them is HARD...

Don't get me wrong I find it fun but it seems hard enough for me to believe there's a much easier way.

It's just a matter of training

Don't forget while circling around one or more enemies and backing up around walls.

.... Or opening and closing a gate on the 200th spider. Heh watch me sleep I'll take my time.

YUp. Sort of a show the devs knew what they were doing. This game is a polished modern version of the old Dungeon Crawlers like Eye of the Beholder and Lands of lore.. IN those games. Dancing arount your enemies was more an exploit of the combat system. In this game. Yeah. it's a feature. and you better learn it before level 6.

Once you get the hang of it though...iYou get pretty decent at it.

Oh one note.
Your fighters should SPecialize in Swords. Not as much damage as axes. sure but they have a faster cooldown and you will find more swords than axes or maces.

YOu ranged fighters... never specialize in thrown weapons. They suck.

Mages. Never specialize ine Earth Magic. It sucks.

And that makes the game feels real. "Real fights" should be done with much dexterity and fear of hurt and pain like in real life.

Completely agree. The combat is well planned and intentionally made to feel intense.

Only 2 things. Dodge chance and attack speed (for the stun). With these two you are well on your way to becoming god.

I have a minotaur wearing full Valor set and he can't even tank as well as my archer. And my archer isn't even wearing the lurker's set. My unarmed fighter wearing lurker's set is impossible to kill. By the time he's lost 50% health, everyone else has drank 2-3 health potions (each of them) and are still on verge of dying... Which is just sad.

I find that I am fighting the game controls more then the actual ennemies. It's too bad i really love the dungeon and ennemies but there needs to have options to make the game more accessible for those who want them.

That's sort of a genre thing. The awkward mechanics and controls are part and parcel. Though you get used to it as you go along. Little hint. Make sure none of your characters are overburdened. It slows down your movement.

I find the bad controls to be a feature than a problem. But you are right, maybe they even need another option easy controls or old school controls.

Check out this game they (or at least one of them) are currently working on:

I would had preferred that they make Grimrock 3 though.... 8 bit games aren't exactly my thing too.
