Book of Infinite Wisdom - Level 4
I'm trying to obtain the Book of Infinite Wisdom on the 4th Floor. I have thrown an item (rock, throwing knife and star) through the portal on the 4th (soundless) tick. However, the item merely hits the bars next to me instead of landing on the pressure plate to close the pits. Any help?

Thrown by mouse. I ended up getting it by shooting an arrow instead by attack.
