That's not difficult, that's just annoying.
As to their speed, the only really speedy ones are static star-level puzzles, so I'm okay with them being extra difficult. The speed seems absurd when you first listen to it, but you can start and pause the music and slowly nibble away at each note. Frequently there are some notes that are extra distinct, not to mention percussion ones, which can help a lot once you figure out how to isolate the sound in your head. The 5 star music grid is a bit maddening with the high notes overpowering the lower ones, but it's not impossible. Just extremely difficult, which I see as fitting for the only 5-star Music Grid in the game
I'm musically trained and find the ones involving a single instrument on a grid of pitches to be a lot of fun.
