An Unreal process has crashed: UE4-IslandofInsight

I was in the laberinth of glass island and when i try to reconect i have this issue:

Islandsofinsight_win64_shipping
(recursive problem)

I think it maybe could be a problem of respawning, could you reset mi character to the start? My boyfriend has a problem like that and he was auto-respawned at the beggining of the game

I managed to "solve" this by doing two things. I added -dx12 to the launch parameters (not even sure if this did anything, but it was part of what I did) and secondly, I changed my game to run in windows mode on a very low resolution.

Then once I was in the game and spawned, I switched back to my resolution and fullscreen.

i reinstalled vc_redist and i changed a property in file C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Islands of Insight\IslandsofInsight\Binaries\Win64\IslandsofInsight-Win64-Shipping.exe : I turned off optimization in fullscreen mode on the second tab

i think main part was setting to the lowest graphical settings in the game menu, windowed and lowest resolution. After teleporting once, the problem was gone. now you can crank the settings up.
