How to solve fractals?
Um, what exactly are we controlling in this puzzle? Mouse movement in different directions changes the picture, but I can't be precise because I don't see the cursor and I don't understand what each axis changes. I just randomly spin the circle for 5 minutes and give up with a headache. Wtf are those puzzles?

move mouse sideways or up/down to change the thing. find correct spot.

Yeah, I get that, but what do I look for? Just randomly spin? How do I get closer to the solution?

there is image on the side that you try to match

look first for similar colors and then for similar shapes

even then yesterday I couldn't solve the one I've tried...

Imagine a large 25x25 image. Your goal is to hover over a specific 5x5 piece of that image while starting at a completely different 5x5 section. Moving the mouse right and left moves the 5x5 image you're seeing along the X axis, while moving it up and down moves it along the Y axis.

Hopefully that helps you visualize it a bit better. I suggest moving your mouse either in a spiral or S pattern so that you're covering all parts of the image while searching for the solution.

you also have to let go of the mouse for the solution to work.

So when you get close to the solution, keep dragging slightly & then let go.

Ah, thanks everyone, incrementally moving and letting go (very important!) allowed me to progress in solving some of these.

Good explanation. Though I'll point out each fractal is technically a circle. You need to find a specific point on that circle.

There's also a method of dragging with mouse2 (never releasing it) while clicking mouse1 to test solution. Helps with those fractals that just won't want to register even when you're very close. Which is half of them it feels like...

Reset, move the mouse up.
Reset again, move right.
Reset, move down.
Reset, move left.
At this point it is usually clear which direction you need to go to roughly. Fiddle with it until it works. This lets you skip exploring most of the fractal space.

A complication with Morphic Fractals you'll soon be apparent of as well, there are multiple segments that will look the same, you'll just need to find the finer details of what is different than the others then you'll eventually find your solution

Many have shown their disapproval with how difficult Morphic Fractals are, as well as for people with impairments

I have suggested at one time to add optional keyboard controls for easier slight modifying,. yet they have yet to implement that into an update

I think we need some sort of "Help" function on these things, like with the black/white logic puzzles.

These are easily my least favorite puzzles in the game. There is no way for a solver to know ahead of time what their action will do to the image. It is completely guess and check. The actions are continuous (not random), but sometimes the action has such a high rate of change that it is very difficult to make the change you intend. As someone mentioned above, it is possible to get stuck in a "local extremum" where it looks like you are very close to the solution, and moving any which way brings you far away... but in reality you have to indeed move far away to get the required result. For puzzles where you can actually figure out what those movements away from a near-solution does, this is fine, but I think it's at the very least un-fun and unsatisfying here.

I am struggling with them too.

Worst puzzles in the game. I like all other ones, but these are horrible.

I also wish there was a way to use the keyboard - holding the mouse down like that hurts my hand, so I don't even try these puzzles anymore.
