No idea what Mysteries islands are

Ok so at the tutorial area you get a side area where you can only get with wings. If you go ther is tells you "A mystery" So i take it this island is a puzzle to solve. And that if you solve a mystery the pilmar ar the Lucent water that you get from completing a zone. Turns gold.

I did all the puzzels on the small island. No pilar turning godl. No mystery solved marked in the menu. Wtf is this island?

That island is a separate challenge whose name is pretty odd, but has no connection to actual mysteries the game tracks. It's one of many trials you can find spread across the world, which tend to focus on a handful of puzzles with a specific gimmick to them

Jezus H. Christ, thanks. I have been racking my brain on that island for several hours now. Why the f would they name it that way AND have a mystery mechanic in the game :s

Did you try to mess with the gate (it looks like an enclave) on this mystery island? If you try to click on it from a particular angle (usually looking into a crack when basically in the middle of it), you can open the screen to open an enclave. There you will just see that you need to complete something in the main story (even though I finished the game I am still not able to unlock it). Not sure about that one

I did some testing and it's not any particular angle. It's just there is a very small hitbox that sits above the enclave, and you snipe it through the crack. In fact, there may be more than one hitbox, because if you stand on the ring and look down you can find one, and looking up you can find another one. And looking at an angle the hitboxes uptop seem to be further split into two or more

However, while the message is mysterious, I'm not sure of its importance. This hitbox exists above every enclave entrance, and it contains the details for how to unlock each one. Given this Enclave is special in that you need to fly to it, it might be why it never is labeled as "unlocked". Additionally, I suspect this may just be used to spawn the Enclave particle, as if you snipe the hitbox from far away, it's at the very base of the big beam of light above each Enclave entrance https://i.imgur.com/mzLNXO0.jpeg

The only real loose end I have in the game is the expert match-3 challenge, and beyond that it's just mopping up a scattered handful of Vault puzzles & grinding mastery ad infinitum.

Back when I saw that popup message at the empty ring, I allowed myself to believe that there was significance to it, and that beating the Vault would unlock something there. After I beat the Vault, nothing. So then I believed that beating the match-3 challenge (as the only discrete challenge remaining) must unlock something there.

But more and more it looks like it was just an oversight.

Still, kinda weird that this non-functional enclave gate emits the light like that. Maybe it's just to draw attention to it despite the inconsistency
