How long is this game?
I went on a website how long to beat, Completionist shows that it takes 400 hours. That can't possible be true, right?

It can last as long as you want - puzzles outside of the mains quests refresh

My play time is 252 Hours but I actually played this game for 150-160 hours (I work at home and open this game in the morning and play when I got time while working) and for total progress I'm at like 20%-ish completion (But for the main story you'll need around 50hours depending on your puzzle solving skills)

The game doesn't have a solid end-point, so you have to define for yourself where you're gonna end:
* Main quest can be 50-80 hours, depending on how thorough you are within the Enclaves (puzzle dungeons)
* End-game content can get you up to 100-150 hours depending on your puzzle solving speed
* Post-game is technically 300-500ish hours and consists of roaming the world in search for new puzzles that get randomly put in every day. It's not a great finale, and the same feedback loop that makes you like the game more at the start makes you dislike it more in this stage
That being said, the very nature of the random spread of puzzles (they're randomly put into the world, not randomly generated, except for 2/24 puzzle types) means that to get true 100% completion you will need to spread those 300-500 hours across literal years. getting everything is likely more of a 1000+ hour endeavor across over a decade of playing every day, unless you get lucky or they have some anti-RNG protection in the game (which from my experience doesn't seem like there is)

Still, first 100-150 hours are great fun and a great quantity to play a single game, so as long as you don't get too hung up on trying to finish every single puzzle in the world, as annoying as that may sound, then you should have a great time

I think between 50-100 hours if you mainly focus on enclaves and try to not avoid puzzles. The 100% actually seems a crazy amount of hours

Well, when you consider that the Completionist pretty much means completing everything that the game has to offer, which I would assume would include getting every single reward in every single area, I can easily see it taking 300-900 hours given that there are two Mirabilis (one in Verdant Glen, one in Serene Deluge, both in the Perspective puzzles in the areaa) that will take 30-90 days of doing the Perspective puzzles in that area just to get the Mirabilis.)

Other than that, if you want the definition of what I would consider 100% in this game, I would consider it completing every puzzle in every Enclave, and maybe getting all Mirabilis available in the game, save for those two I mentioned above.
