Poor performance on high-end PC

Does anyone else have poor performance even when their desktop PC is fairly high-end? I find myself having framerate issues even if I drop the settings to low and turn off many options.
Perhaps it's something specific to my graphics card (Asus Radeon RX 6750 XT Dual OC 12GB GDDR6)?

I've got a ryzen 5600 and rx 7600 and it's nearly unplayable even on low. So much for recommended specs.

This was already a problem in their previous beta-test and it's still a problem now. I'm on a Nvidia Geforce RTX 3060 Ti and also getting poor performance even on Very Low.

The worst part is that there was an option before that was named something like "Global Shadows" that made shadows render on the entire world. Disabling that option made my FPS go back to normal, but they seemingly removed that option on the new demo.

Yeah, same here. OC'd RTX 3060Ti, Ryzen 5 7600X and no matter the settings can't even reach stable 60fps. What's weird, in the first / second playtest after playing around with the settings, I could easily get my fps way above 60. But now, it's almost stuck around 40, I've tried everything. It's a bit disappointing, but I'm hoping that they maybe do something for the actual release(yeah, I know, slim chances).

The game is extremely CPU bottlenecked, almost certainly due to networking which is common in MMOs. I'm mostly hanging around 50-60 fps, sometimes as high as 80 with a Ryzen 5800x3D, but it's a struggle for sure.

Definitely don't think the game is optimized correctly still though, it's definitely way more demanding on my GPU than it should be but...

Out of curiosity, what CPU are you running? Because if anyhing, I guess that could be a bottleneck for me

AMD Ryzen 5 5600x 6-Cores 3.7GHz. Yours should outperform mine. :/

Cannot reach 60FPS reliably, with a 4090 and a R9 7950X. Lowering the settings has an effect. Not on the FPS, but on my GPU usage, which goes bellow 50% in medium settings!
Of course my cpu seems to be barely used as well.

Most likely a multi-threading issue.

I have a 4070ti Super (just got it) and 7800X3D and my FPS goes to like 85-120 FPS on high with upscaling turned off... Not saying it's smooth, there's a lot of stuttering when moving, but FPS counter stays pretty high. I just cap to 60 and it pretty much never drops. No idea how a 4090 can't hit 60fps on low. Gotta be a CPU limit

Well, it can and does reach 80FPS, but the next second it drops as low as 50 again. And for no apparent reason. The framerate is completely unstable.

As I said, the CPU is barely being used as well. And with a Ryzen 9 7950X, it's not like there would many more powerful consumer CPUs on the market right now...

I haven't investigated, but my guess would be that the game only manages to distribute the load to a couple of cores.

Edit: I play in 4K.

Yeah it is. I noticed one CPU core being heavily loaded (about 75%) while I was playing so that's almost certainly the bottleneck.

this is quite frustrating this low level of perfomance. during winter's demo it was muuuuch better (and I played about 30 hours or more). but now - naaah, it is very bad. I wanted so much to play the demo, cannot wait for release, but in current state - it is very very very frustrating experience, freezes, lags, abilities reset all the time.. not able to complete some daily missions, 'cause demo is very small (or greedy).

I said "shut up and take my money already", but now - a prefer to see reviews after launch, what people say about perfomance and overall.

I fell in love with this game, but now I'am afraid this game die unborne if nothing change.

ps: and what surprises me - total silence from devs. I'm 100% sure - they see complaints about perfomance. they MUST react somehow to calm down our concerns.
