is it possible to retrieve an old account

Hi,
i played the game a lot, back in 2012, but i stoped for some years, then my account (arround 2015) was not retrieable anymore, password not recognised, impossible to reset it.

I wanted to check if i still couldn't do it, and it seem i still can't.
is their a special way, (not from the website) ? or my account is simply lost?
