Does the game have an ending?

I'm completing loop after loop. I thought that completing all of my scions' quests will trigger some kind of the ending sequence. However, nothing of the sort happened.
My question is: is completing the game even possible or does the game has no end and you can repeat loops until you get bored?

There isn't an endgame currently, although there may be one added in the future. After you have leveled up all your scions you can just do runs to get more supplies to build up your holt until you run out of room. Beyond that just wait for a potential future update I guess.
