Question About Upgraded Cards
On my latest loop I noticed that when I can pick a card to upgrade it shows that the card no longer needs to be near other buildings, but once it is in my deck, that cost returns. I might be remembering this wrong, but in earlier loops that proximity cost was actually removed for upgraded cards.

Which way is it supposed to be?

I pick amd upgrade the Iron Mine alot, so i remember very clearly that the upgraded version removes the proximity costs. But looking in the codex, it doesn't show that.

Though not all cards removes proximity costs. Some removes it, some reduces it, some doesn't affect the proximity costs at all.

The card upgrade in this game is kinda well done.
Unlike orx and other games made it increase cost

It actually depends on the card.

Some get the "Exhaust" modifier lifted, meaning they can be selected again either when you finish your card pile or build a recycler.

Some get increased bonuses (towers gives +4 fighters per turn instead of +2)

Somes gets proximity limit removed (big iron mine is normally limited to 3 iron exploited maximum, but once upgraded, it can exploit all the iron in the radius)

The lift allows you to pick 3 cards instead of 2
And so on.

--> Usually the building cost increase for the upgraded card.
--> It doesn't upgrade all cards of the same type, just the selected one (if you have 2 iron mines, only one will be upgraded.
--> It isn't kept from one loop to the next one, but is kept between islands.

The next update scheduled for next week fixes the UI issue where requirements are not present on thr upgrade screen!
