How to get a PS3 Controller to work with SpeedRunners?

I've tried almost everything :S It works on the game controller panel thing and the d-pad and buttons work ( Sticks dont work, but don't think that matters too much for this game :P ). And when I enter the game and then do multiplayer then custom game then add 2 local players I can't click on the Keyboard to change it to into a Controller :P

Have you tried using MotionJoy (or similar) to emulate the 360 pad?

Yeah I'm using MotionJoy to do that :P that's what I've been doing :P

Ah this may have something to do with the 'connected' state of the controller (i.e. that part isn't emulated I think). I don't have any playstation controller here to try. There are some tutorials online for this though: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7z8y_7YTn2E . Let me know if you get it working I guess more people would like to know how to do this.

Thanks alot! That video worked perfectly :) I guess it was just MotioninJoy not working with this game :) Very fun game to play with someone near you and online at the same time!

Yeah :) I love your game, it's a great Co-op game to play online or with your friends! I love your game and I wished that your update would be tommorow with more maps ! :D Cause I really want more maps :) Great game and everything's so fun about it! My favourite map would have to be the SS one! :D And more powerups would be awesome too, in my opinion the best powerup is the grabbing grappling hook (the one that grabs the "SpeedRunners").

The latest motionjoy caused my pc to bluescreen but it also didn't work with every game. http://forums.pcsx2.net/Thread-XInput-Wrapper-for-DS3-and-Play-com-USB-Dual-DS2-Controller This however has so far been successful to fool every game I have that I have an xbox controller. It doesn't cause my system to crash and it also uses less resources. (I'm adding this to increase the available options.)

Awesome now there's 2 ways of managing to get a PS3 Controller working as an Xbox controller ;D

I use motioninjoy with my ps3 controller, no problems

Mine works fine except from in the custom games section. When players have joined and we get to the chose map-screen, it just stops working :S
