I've no sound.. Help please !
At first I had no problems, but in recent days , I do not have sound at all when I play the game! Can you help me? I uninstalled and re-install , nothing. I have the latest version of Windows audio player too!

A french fan.

The game automatically disabled sound if there is a problem with it, so you can still play the game.

Problems for normal audio are usually driver related. There is also a more rare issue where XNA is suddenly unable to load sounds. Restarting your PC should fix that however.

I did everything you asked me to do, and nothing has changed, I still have no sound in the game whereas before without touch anything , I was !
Can you help me?
I'm on Windows 8.1 , I have over 200 games on Steam and this is the first time it happens ! It's really annoying not to have the sound as music to play ..

Hey I added some extra error reporting on why sound doesn't work. Run the game now and post your log file here after that. (Press the Windows Key + R and copy/paste: %AppData%/SpeedRunnersLog.txt)

Ok that's interesting, the game should be able to play sounds just fine (that is, the game isn't actively disabling sounds).

So make sure the sound volume is all the way up in the options menu.
If that's the case, set the game windowed (Press Alt+Enter).
Click on the speaker icon in near the time in the taskbar and click mixer. Make sure the volume for SpeedRunners is up: http://gyazo.com/a977f7d4c2812c36a33aa5243097ec7a

I 'd never done that with alt + ent , and I confess I feel stupid .. Thanks a lot, really !
