Xbox 360 Controllers

Hello there!
So I got my Xbox 360 wireless receiver, I connect my 2 xbox controllers, it shows that they are working fine. However, when I start Speedrunners only one of them is working. What should I do ?

start a custom match and add local player per controller and online oppon for other people. or close them down if you just want to play with your friends.

Uhm, I want to play against my friend on my computer. I add myself as a local player, but when I want to add him as a local player too, there's just a keyboard option, no second xbox controller. and the 2nd controller is not even working in the game. always just one controller is working. I dont know where have I messed up

Can anybody help me please? The speedrunners recognizes only one controller, why's that?

Does the controller works by another game? or is it just Speedrunners?

yeah test it on aother games. if not it has to be a settings thing. i have never done the co op where i had a buddy at my house so IDK. but Local Player is what your option will be no matter what game it is.

I don't really have any other game where I could try it. Any recommendations? A free game? I would be really upset if it won't work, because I bought that wireless controller just because of this game

Edit for Other reasons. They are out there just search. Also you should see a Controller and keyboard in front of each player. Make sure you click on the Controller this wil activate it. Also make sure when you boot windows that you Have your USB reciever plugged in, and that ALL four controllers are being seen. Meaning Upper left Solid Green Means First Player is connected to the PC. Also you can go into your Printer and Devices and should be able to see all 4 controllers. But once again i am not sure as i have never done that. Also do a search. Cant get all 4 controllers working speedrunners or something. But when you are in the screen. Choose Custom settings instead of Rank or Quck Match go to Custom Match. you will need to Customize it. And if you can not see the options for some reason. There should be options in there where you can choose to the right of your Controller Local Player and make sure to Click on the Controller Icon in front of that player this should activate their controller on the game. Same with the next player. and so on. I believe it does support all 4 controlls but am not sure on this.

and only the one is working, which was plugged first. I checked everything and it says that it should be working. Also I have the Microsoft Xbox 360 Accessories software which shows that 2 controllers are connected. However, the strange thing is, that when I start the game,the application disappears afterwards. But on the other hand, when I don't use this application, 1 controllers works anyway.

ok in your FIrst Picture to the RIght you see a key board. take your Mouse and left Click on that Once. Then it should turn Into a Controller Icon. Then do the next on the other two slots. Then choose Add Local Player on all three slots AFTER turning the icon from Keyboard and mouse to Controller. See if that fix's it.

the two things you need to activate before choosing players in your Room, are Options down below right, and That.... Then you choose Local Player, or Online Player. and you can choose both Local player and online player. Just be patient for online it may take a minute or two.

I tried what you said, but like you see in the picture, I can just join players with 1 controller. Simply it recognizes just one controller I don't know why. I'm so mad, because I bought this wireless controller only for this and it's not working...

I've tried everything, but nothing worked. I was so desperate, so I tried my last hope. I reinstalled Speedrunners and guess what! It helped, it works now! Anyway, thanks for you help! :) Really appreciate it!
