Seems to have fixed the problem, no crashes so far!
Some players claim their perceived input lag is reduced or gone when vsync is turned off, maybe that helps for you too?
Subscribed maps from Steam workshop load fine. My saved levels load fine.
It's just the Tutorial & Official maps (i.e. Metro, Library, etc).
