How to get super speed?

I'm 12 hours into this game and the only thing I still dont fully understand is how does superspeed work. I know about momentum and everything and ive done superspeed many times but what causes it?

And the main thing is, after 12 hours you can notting, really, i got +300 hours on speedrunners and i'm still learning.

When you hit a certain level of speed, it'll come up saying super speed. All it means is that you're going fast enough to display that message.. to actually go that fast to begin with, you pretty much need to use the game's mechanics to build up your momentum and speed to the point where it says super speed
