But a Shmup is meant to be played over and over, honing your skills and getting better little by little.
Playing through a Shmup once is no more the point of the genre than roguelikes or rogue-lites.
I understood... but usually you have to restart only the level.
Not the entire game from zero.
Oh so this is where the sudden influx of "this game is not respecting player's time" comments originates from. People should start to think for themselves again, instead of being served opinions (in general).
P.s. If you die in story mode (using all 9 credits), you can just select the last unlocked stage from main menu and continue from there with fresh 9 credits again.
I did this but this way the game dont unlock the next stage.
It only allows you to play stages already unlocked.
