Free Upgrade and Discounted Upgrade Information
RealFlight 9.x users qualify for either a discounted upgrade to RealFlight Evolution or a free copy. Which one? It depends on whether you purchased 9.5S specifically or 9/9.5.

If you bought 9.5S, you will get RealFlight Evolution for free! It simply shows up in your Steam library alongside 9.5S. All you have to do is install it.

If you bought 9 or 9.5, you got 9.5S for free, and you are eligible for a 30% discount on Evolution. Choose the "Upgrade from RealFlight 9.5" option in the RealFlight Evolution store page.

It doesn't matter if you purchased from Steam or your local hobby shop or online. What matters is which version you bought originally.

It should be 70% Discount. Evolution is not a 70% addition to 9 or 9.5 or 9.5s Get Real

I agree with HyperHerb. It literally looks the same. No benefit to update.

This is what it should be. From what I have read about the new version is there is more hassle than content. Of the list of models, they are including, only 2 of them are worth looking at. The rest are all, IMHO, useless. They are models I will never use in real life. Seriously, how many Timber versions does anyone need?! This is not worth upgrading at a 30% discount. It should be a much higher discount. It is also Horizon Hobby biased. All the models are HH branded from what I can tell. I'm not surprised. There was definitely no Freewing models. Maybe an FMS or Arrow in there but not much.

Many Thanks ! It´s a great offer. Is it possible to integrate support for Valve Index and Pimax in the future? It is also without this already a great simulation, I can train properly with it !

So....." It simply shows up in your Steam library alongside 9.5S" ok splains alot. That said thank god I didnt inadvertantly actually purchase this. TBH it doesnt seem like an improvement. I supposedly have settings on realistic which in comparison to 9.5s are not very realistic. Also not liking the new menu and access to it. Seems like a lot of useful stuff is gone. Why cant I edit or create a custom plane

I bought RF8 not even a month before 9 came out. They did not announce when they were releasing 9. I contacted them to see if I could get any discount on 9. The RF person was fairly blunt and rejected even the idea. I've bought 3 different versions of RF over the years (2 different controllers), and would've bought 9 or evo, but I'll never buy another version because of the way that RF person was. RF is all about money, and there is very little difference between the ver$ion$. I just fly my planes anyways, and 8 still works for me if I feel like messing around. But there really is no need to ever 'upgrade'. I would never support ppl like RF. And FS1 also works fine and is free. Good luck.
