So purchased new Evo and the Interlink DX not recognized also launches into sim and at the top left of screen no options just puts u on the runway with a plane moving and no control any ideas, not issues with 9.5s

As explained over on the RealFlight forums, what you're seeing is the change to a brand new user interface for RealFlight, which is one of its new features.

To bring up the new main menu, do what the notification at the top of the screen says and press ESC on your keyboard or the Cancel button on your InterLink if you have one.

If you're using an InterLink, you can do almost everything in the new UI without having to use the keyboard or mouse (though they definitely still work, too).

Me either. They changed it just to change it. The old UI was better.

The new UI seems to be lacking (or have hidden) features in the old menu system, and the font size is much too large.

All I get w/ mine is the little Habu sitting on runway w/ no controls availible ...ESC key doesn't do anything....nothing on interlink controller does anything? NO menu at all!

Thanks for confirming that!..Got to contact Horizpn on Monday and that helps a lot! I worked in the hobby business for over 30 years and have operated every version of this!

I cant get to top menu on left top corner. what am i doing wrong?

Nothing...obviously, you have the same problem we have.......No key on my keyboard does anything to access the menu...used to be ESC or the space bar would reset the start.......

If some people are having success w/ the same version...I believe our codes are invalid on the install screen......I think we have "bugs" w/ our codes??.....don't know of anything else that would cause this......please anyone respond w/ their ideas......

Was on "chat "( you can NO LONGER talk to anyone at Horizon)...he "claimed " that a 2.0 USB hub would fix the problem?? I thought the included USB hub would do that??

Was on the phone w/ RF rep...12th GEN Intel boards are not compatible right now w/ DirectX 9...which is what RF Evolution uses

I had this problem and thanks to the above post about 12th gen Intel and DX9 I was able to figure out a workaround. In my case, I'm running a laptop with 12th gen Intel and discrete NVIDIA RTX 3060 GPUs. For some reason Windows decides to run RealFlight on the Intel card instead of the discrete GPU. I was able to force RealFlight to start on the NVIDIA GPU on Windows 11:
- go to System>Display>Graphics,
- Under Custom options for apps, add C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\RealFlight Evolution\RealFlight64.exe as a Desktop app.
- Click Options and Select High performance (which in my case is the RTX 3060).

The welcome window now comes up and I've got a full UI.
