Amen brother..I have problems with my hands this half ass stuff they dump onto pcs with bad controls makes me sick. so glad for returns.
This game needs key bindings customization. Even games from the 90's were able to provide such a simple feature !
I was excited and happy about this new game coming out ! It looks fun, it looks silly !
But I got hella disappointed by the fact you can't change your control settings.
It's freaking 2024, being able to change your keys to your liking has been always a thing since litteraly the 90's.
I grew up playing with ↑←↓→ not with WASD.
I know I only represent 15%~20% of people playing with arrows rather then WASD but we still there and exist ! We always appreciate being able to set up the game to our liking !
If you could apply a future patch to allow people to do that it would be really nice !
Thanks :)
moving from DOS based corridor FPS and shifting to WASD during Quake 3, I'd use number pad for years before Quake 3, But the faster movement and natural resting position of the arm didn't work with NUMPAD or Cursors.
WASD makes sense after you shift position, and rebinding should be in all PC games.
Though steam does allow you to reconfigure controllers through steams options.
