Is there an easier way to find all the patties after the grill explodes? I found 3 initially, then my game crashed, and when I went back to re-do it I can't find any of them...

There should be smoke coming off the patties to help find them if they are lost in the grass!

I'm aware of that, but was wondering if it could be more pronounced. As it is, I have to basically be right on top of the patty to notice it, which completely defeats the purpose.

What I did was move the patties from the grill underneath next to the propane tank, and then set it off. The ones that did get launched ended up landing fairly close to the grill area, and a few of them were still inside.

you can actually just remove raw patties from the grill, explode the grill and then cook yourself by putting them on top several times quickly

Is there a way to restart this one without starting a new save? I've searched everywhere around the yard, house, and inside the house and have no idea where they went. Feels like they just vanished into the void.

There is! Go and save at the save point across the street from the grill, and then from the menu, reload your save. It'll reset the patties onto the grill.
