Whats your favorite char?
How high is his prestige lvl?
How many Runepoints?
For CurseV you dont need anything special and you can do this with utter garbage skills.
with a proper build it will become butter smooth.
For instance, use the Chaoswalker with pure Chaos and you can do whatever you want.
But if you like something detailed with your prefered char, just let us know.
Cheers!
Also it's not that simple as a favorite with garbage skills. You need to have enough dashes, enough running speed and enough DPS because otherwise you get overrun by bosses and AOEs VERY quickly as I have learned slamming my head against this wall over and over again.
Necromancer is the closest I'll ever get but it's just not reaching past the final set of bosses, even with the strongest summons.
Necromacer
Wooden Scythe
Skeletal Warriors (Necromancer 1st Weapon basic Skill)
Skeletal Mages (Necromancer Prestige LVL 5)
Skeletal Archers (Necromancer Prestige LVL 20)
Putrid Hounds (Necromancer Prestige LVL 50)
Chaos Golems (default with Chaos)
For the 6t summon you have multiple options:
1. Frenzied Bunnies (Easter Event - Custom Curse Intensity 34)
--- best option but probably out of reach for the moment ---
2. Chaos Totem (Chaoswalker - Prestige LVL 20)
--- your second best option, but you have to use the Rune Skill Mastery: Chaos ---
-> Chaoswalker - beat Overlord Cycle2 on any Curse LVL
-> Skill Mastery: Chaos - one round under 12 minutes with Chaoswalker on any Curse LVL
3. Helper Elves (Winterevent - Custom Curse Intensity 34)
--- before you do this, aim for the Bunnies ---
4. any Beastmaster Summon
- War Tiger (Beastmaster Prestige LVL 5)
- Battle Moose (Beastmaster Prestige LVL 20)
--- you have to use the Rune Skill Mastery: Nature and hope the best ---
-> Skill Mastery: Nature - one round under 12 minutes with Beastmaster on any Curse LVL
Runes
1. Dash Mastery - Frozen Wastelands Curse II
2. Multicast Mastery - Caves of Dhal Zhog Curse IV
OR
Critical Mastery - Whispering Grove Curse III
3. Skill Mastery: Chaos OR Nature, depending on your Skill choice
This will do,
Cheers!
This really helps. It was incredibly difficult to find any build guides so thanks for this! Will see how this goes.
Here to show: "It just works!"
With the "worst" option.
If you need more help, feel free to ask and would like it if you share your result.
Good Luck,
Cheers
You actually dont need movement speed, as long as you dont play Death Knight.
Dash Mastery is your best friend in terms of mobility.
Prime offender in this case being the Priestess' long duration laser which hits about one beam width away from the visual of the attack. The melee attacks of some of the bosses are also janky and the sawblade of automaton boy has hit me straight on and did no damage. And no, I had no spell that would have applied a chance to miss.
This is the biggest issue for me with this game, the hitboxes are a lie.
The first thing i worked towards in the skill tree when i started the game was the bonus dash.
With two dashes, you are good set, up and inclueded CurseV, maybe even VI without movement speed.
For above, since the increase from VI to VII is pretty significant, lack of dash or MS can be a run ender.
Some hitboxes are still not accurate yes, but you get used to it. They were much more jank before and devs did a huge adjustment already.
It's good to hear that adjustments have already been made to the hitboxes, that means it's something the devs are actually working on. As far as the Bullet Heaven genre goes this is so far the best game I've played.
SS is very special to me somehow, so is HoT.
It has its flaws, but I love it and its insane addictive. i have over 400 hours already oO ^^
Melle builds, are tough . . . I got through C6 with the spellblade, but you need to avoid his frost weapon and instead try to also get bladestorm which comes from the Barb and try to get high tier AOE perks to ensure you dont end up with a ball of LORDS and no way to hit them. IF you want a magic type build, just do chaos and stack debuff dots, it should take you all the way past C5 even without any unlocks. Look for weapons that hit quickly such as channel bolts and FINISHERS which do + damage per stack . . . those weapons will kill the lords with enough of any stack on any damage type.
Just some tips, keep playing and you will through unlocking weapons and hero content eventually push through. :)
Finally did it using this build but replacing archers with war tigers. Thank you so much for this. Final key was turning down effects which isn't exactly a point in the game's favor if higher difficulties require that.
