Earth Shield and Area, what does this do?

I've been trying to figure out what Area does for Earth Shield. If it makes the orbit bigger, it's a VERY tiny increase. If it makes the shields bigger, again, VERY tiny increase.

The fact I'm having to ask kinda points to how tiny of a change there actually is. Even after being over 200% Area, it doesn't look any different than when I first take the skill. I genuinely cannot figure out what Area does for Earth Shield.

Not all abilities' animation scales with area. Beams are the classic example of this. But their area of impact goes up. So they still hit more stuff, you just don't see the animation for it.

Ah. Sounds like something they'll get around to addressing at some point, but low on priority for now. Good to know it's doing something, tho. Thanks!
