just share exp and this is no problem. i dont get the purpose of a deeper sense like trading if the opportunity to have fun with your buddies is more than enough. Right now I dont think our society got the hardware to support this game in coop ^^
Still, there's a billion things more important to work on (imo)
Only that they already said they possibly want to make it because its the "MOST" requested feature.
So much about "more important (things) to work on".
Coop is a possibility being discussed by the devs. If it is to be implemented, it will probably be post the initial release and would come as a free content patch.
they would have to fundamentally change the game to do it meaning a bait and switch situation.
i cant speak for everyone but i DEFINITELY have 1 friend that sits there and reads the description of EVERY skill, item, location, and stat in every single game they play, and that would be infuriating in a game that pauses itself so you can level up every 30 seconds or less (he would literally spend 3 minutes every 30 seconds choosing skills..). he literally even looks at gear he already has copies of as some sort of OCD before he sells stuff.
im all for making it a full fledged arpg, but the way its designed RIGHT NOW multiplayer is a profoundly stupid idea. what would you do, eat ♥♥♥♥ all through the first level until its time to put away skills and make absolutely sure you do it before entering the portal? you cant even see whats going on on the screen as it is at high levels, how would you rez them?
its totally OKAY to make a single player game, its not like theres a shortage of games you can play with friends or anything.
This game however, isn't it. When you have to turn particle effects off just to play solo, not seeing what my theoretical ally is up to is a bad thing...
until hes in YOUR game... that was kind of the point.
Except he won't. I'd only play with my brother.
If EXP is shared equally you'd both level up at the same time and the game could pause during this time.
Time will only resume when both people have picked their skills.
Also not being able to level up until AFTER a boss fight is ridiculous. You need those skills to kill a boss.
