My game keeps crashing

5 games in a row, I keep crashing and losing all progress. I posted in the discord but I'm not getting a response. I need help, the game is currently unplayable for me. It didn't crash before the patch, I'm not getting any error messages, the game just closes itself.

I am not a dev, but what are your system specs? Performance at the higher levels is a problem after a few rounds in endless and overlord modes.

The calculations with everything going on are intense. If you're using a laptop, ensure your discrete GPU is being utilized for video and the CPU should take over the number crunching.

What temps is your system at when it crashes? The common ground it seems is that you're past the first round with a lot on screen. This is processor intensive from my experience and generates quite a bit of heat.

Just curious, hoping to help someone enjoy the game :)

Also, another way to sort of traverse the rabbit hole is to:

Start -> type "Event Viewer" and hit enter -> System

Wait for the logs to load

right-click system and filter -> make sure warning, error and critical are the only boxes checked -> OK

Look for events around the time of the crash. I'm thinking you'll see some DCOM issues, which points to resources.

Hey Ya'll I will try to help you out here, but unfortunately these crashes can go beyond the game's scope or my capabilities as they can be related to many different things, so its hard to actually pin down the exact issue. I have people say that changing windows version fixed it, cleaning their PC fixed it, changing which driver the game was installed on and so on, updating graphics card and so on.

Based on the responses I get from these cases, here are some things you can try for the meantime while we wait for new updates to drop on the game:

- Updating graphics driver to the latest version or trying to find a stable previous version of your drivers;
- Disabling overclock in any shape or form (unity, the game engine has a known issue with overclocked systems);
- Clean installing the graphics drivers (Uninstall them properly and re-install them);
- re-install the game / install it in another driver
