Prestige Farming

Getting Prestige 170 for costumes and achievements with characters, even with current max prestige gain (600%), is absolutely horrible. You can have 1 hour long run and you still get only about 15-20 levels after lv 100. Now imagine doing that with 15 characters and more to come. I hoped this would change with recent big update so I waited for the patch to do the achievements, unfortunately to no avail.

Hi,

how are you farming Prestige?
(Curse Intensity, Endless/Overlord Loop)

While it is still some grind, it is definetly not as bad as before.
You can maximize efficiency, if you keep your Curse Intensity at minimum 36,
while not going unneccessary higher than that, to farm over 1mil Prestige in ~15 Minutes,
depending on Char and Build.

If it will get faster in the future, I wouldnt mind, but I honestly doubt it,
since Devs want you to do something in the long run.

I sort of follow the guide above, sort of.
Basically on a new character I pick a stage with full curses (or as many as I can unlock) and then go until I can't, trying to get 20+ for their unique skill and weapon. Then I restart and use that guide but my curses are about 53ish, enough that I get the void materials.

The funny thing, my first runs are WILDLY varied. Paladin took me 2 runs before I hit 20. The next character, Beastmaster, I hit 75 on the first run. RNGesus blessed me!

It wasn't letting me. Every time I go lower it went away. I wonder if it will if I switch out of the newbeginings beta.

Does it work for you with other Materials?
E.g. Rare when you have only 5/5 at Curse III?

Maybe you have to "beat" a map first on max Curse?
I did all five at 62 right away when the update dropped and updated the guide much later,
so not sure about that.

Huh, yep that seems to be it, just quickly tested as well. When I lowered my curses I started with the purples for pillars and so on. Then on that very selection I was clicking off the void and overwhelming, saw the void material disappeared and so clicked back on the Void cursed.
Guess I just associated it with the number of curses and not the purple options.

With the right setup, you can easily get a character from 0 to prestige 170 in less than an hour. I'll leave a good chunk of the discovering to you, but ideally, you'll want to have all the bare minimum of each of the curses from 1 to 7 online, with preference to more elite and lord spawns. Then upon finishing a stage, do overlord. The most I got in one run is 3 mil for less than 30 minutes, so 1 mil per 15 minutes should be doable.

I suggest you try unlocking each character's skill tree and runes first before you power level your prestige. Those will be your key to speeding up your runs.
