ammo box
am i missing something about this skill? A 1 stack summon that generates 1 ammo per, doesnt seem to scale with a lot besides area and maybe being able to summon more, i assume multicast doesnt work on it and it probably cannot consume ammo on itself when cast. But why would i do that when i can just use another attack skill that ALSO generates ammo, but a lot more than 1 per second while doing a lot of damage?

Yep you are missing something.

The second weapon of the engineer is based around Summons. The ammobox also gives every summon ammo buff. One of the more devastating combos is in combination with the power conductor as one of the fastes ways to play Dots on enemies

im actually using that right now; so it was just pretty bad for my last build if it truly was just 1 ammo a second.
Seems to be a bug though im seeing my EZ sentry's SPAWN with nearly 300 ammo

EZ Sentries use their ammo extremely slowly for some reason. Seems like like 'shoot' once with four hits and then wait a second and then 'shoot' once again so they tend to build stacks.

Using Divine Legacy and Endless Refill is the secret to Ammo Box. Getting + summon count that way once you hit around 7 or 8 Ammo Boxes with multicast you'll constantly have the 5x multicast from Ammunition. By itself with one summon, yeah it's total garbage.

(1) You can get more ammo boxes.

(2) When do you do (1), the ammo boxes, which give you ammunition, themselves get ammunition from each other that they use to dole out more ammunition.

At first i wasnt sure what taking fire rate/multicast would even do for the ammo box since i can only have one (by default) and the numbers on the skill never changed but it does seem that the box itself gets multicast/fire rate bonuses to dole out ammo faster so thats nice
The Box can also multi summon, its not limited to 1 Box and the Area can be the entire screen. Most surprising for me was that the defaulte engineer weapon + skill are actually the strongest of his weapons...

yeah i tried this build and it was pretty spectacular but by the end of overlord 6 i was at 1 fps rofl. maybe i didn't need 20 ammo boxes but it was hilarious.

Summon amount effects the box, multi cast as well as well as aoe size.

More boxs = spams higher ammo regen I had around 10+ boxs spaming its aoe so it was 10 a tick per wave it sent out total.
As long as you got 1 box an keep getting more summon amount for it is where it shines as a support skill.

The main thing you want to get for this skill is summon amount increases for it when you see them.

What works pretty good is get summon amount as talent so you start off with 1 extra for all summons, an you can get the other ammo passives as well, it makes it really good a few mins in, the fastest time I got for clear atm on max diff is around 6 mins with ammo an by 11 mins total I cleared 3-4 more stages.
