Comparing the Base Lightning Skills with other sources, Elementalist is defiently on the weaker end.
Pyromancer's Overcharged Blast or Barbarian's Thundering Slash can definetly dish out more damage with less invest than Call Lightning.
My main issue with Elementalist is, that every single DoT Passive is avaible from the getgo due Elemental Overload, which bloat up the Pool.
So it is way harder to focus on specific Builds.
I prefer more purist builds, which is clearly a "me" problem, instead of mixing multiple Skill Types together.
But I still think you are somewhat "forced" to play Elementalist at full DoT Machine,
due pool is bloated with every DoT Upgrade.
