Co-op mode ?!Maybe it's time after all?

the developers said that someday there would be a co-op, but they are rolling out a new hero...

It is clear that a lot of things will need to be balanced, but many players are expecting this. I'm already starting to be disappointed that there won't be a cooperative in it, because I saw the game "Gatekeeper: Infinity" there is a cooperative there already with the closed beta and it's very cool.

i mean its still getting updates so the chance for coop isnt zero. and the idea itself isnt bad for people with friends so there is that.

tho i will say from personal prefrence(i prefer solo even in coop focused games) that im glad they focus more on making a great single player thing rather than drop coop into it since they are very diffrent beast and could very much hurt the game if done badly.

Yes, I also support this, but still the cooperative will give the game a second wind, especially if little is already said about it.

If there is a cooperative, there will be more people
More new people - more money for developers
more money for the developer - more updates
More updates - more people to a certain hype.

They may want to consider a poll to gauge interest, I have no idea of the percentage of people who’d prefer solo vs co-op but personally it’ll be solo only for me no matter what!

Strange people, I realized that for some individuals this is a single-player game, I do not deny that it is good in itself.
Why write about this here? I just know that if you add co-op to any single player game, even if it’s a mod for 1 half life, it will also be fun, which is what I wish for this game.
People, calm down, no one is saying anything about your single-player game, it will remain the same, they will probably just add a mode.

Or people come here who want to say that for them a single person is already good. They could create another topic about this and write about it there.

This is my point too, I have no issue whatsoever with adding in co-op, but personally I’d like to see more content added as a priority and we have to consider that the dev team can only work on so many things at one time. Co-op is likely to need lengthy development and a lot of resources.

Hence the reason a poll could be useful for the devs, we have a few co-op posts in the discussions but I’m not sure that’s the opinion of the majority of people!

I mean, it's not as simple just a small update and BOOM co-op. The would need to rewrite alot of systems in the game to work in co-op. Adding online play is a pretty huge thing to add to a game that wasn't built for it initially in mind. And the game isn't even fully finished yet. They are working on new game modes and I think it was 21 classes they plan on having by full release. So I am happy they plan on finishing the game first.
