(The current Bunny build is waaaay weaker than it used to be. I used to make it to level 12 with 48 curse, now its a struggle to get past 8. The Chaos nerfs were definitely necessary but boy did they hurt.)
You can swap out Purging Slam for Noxious Shot. Noxious Shot scales better with high cast frequency than Purging Slam, so It's probably better with Bloodlust, but if you get these abilities on a character with Might, Purging is probably better.
Also Golems aren't super necessary as most things die before they can do anything, but once you get to level 9, 10, or 11, bosses start living for a while, so having them tank the bosses can help a lot. If you do decide to get rid of them, just replace them with another Plague Rat ability for Purging Slam or Putrid Hounds for Noxious Shot.

i think rot/poison might be the next to go... im melting bosses in seconds by just activating the virus in the mob and letting it do its thing, so i wonder if the rats are necessary or the rot poison combo is what is working because im shredding with the snake shot thing

Pretty crazy dmg, had 1000% multicast on the firstorms and fiery blades, which I had the tooltip showing in the screenshot.
The rats are mostly so Putrefy can apply more stacks. Plus when you resummon them, they technically die and apply their rot effect
so i had purposefully tried to avoid researching 'meta' builds and hadn't experienced the 'bunny build' yet... literally felt like cheating :'(
