As far as the parts being allocated to a site, best is to collect 20 before even visiting any site.
The ones that need a bit of help are those that are almost impossible to do without dying, like the Paladin.
Nothing's going to beat Barbarian for ease of proc, and power when it happens, but Barbarian also has minimal control over timing.
Legionnaire also has the advantage that because the catapults don't scale, you don't feel obligated to pick them up in late loops, but you still can do so in relative safety if you want to. It just becomes pacman.
