Character Specific Skill Trees
I just wanted to say that this new addition was a fantastic idea for nailing down character identity while allowing for more variety. Without it, it would seem weird that the "Pyromancer" has a weapon with two shadow skills unrelated to fire. But, of course, with the right skill unlocks, you can still shoot out draconic fire, everything can apply melting, you do the fire wave when hit, you start with fire shield... very nice job

So far all i can play with is the hound master stuff. Getting 1 extra doggy and the dogs get some minor buffs is pretty neat. Especially when they before would just instantly die a few minutes into a run. No idea how to unlock the others though

Big skill trees make me happy though.

There is a second extra doggy! I just spotted it after my last run

Skill trees open after level 20 of each character, but you must be stumbling on the same problem I had:
Despite having all the characters on lvl 70+, only the Spellblade (which was my currently selected character when I opened the game right after the update) had the skill tree unlocked.
Turns out that the central skill tree has a new skill on the top right corner, and you need to complete the entire tree to get an achievement that will unlock the skill trees of the other characters.

I think having the skill tree of one character open without it might be a bug.

Yet to see any of them so I assume there's more to it than just prestige lvl 20 (currently up to lvl 31 on pyromancer)?
Don't see any new skills in the skilltree at all, do I first need to max out all the base ones to see it?

I believe so. They were all unlocked when I opened the game, but also I got the achievement for fully unlocking the base skill tree.

Thanks for the feedback, I'll keep slugging away and hopefully that will do it so. Was worried maybe I needed to scrap the save and start over (and better to do so sooner rather than later if so).
