Real difference between endless & overlord?
Playing on Curse 7, I thought the new Endless would provide a better scaled experience, but even with a good run (9 minute clear) I was instantly outscaled by the bosses and it just became an endless boss slog, more akin to what I'd expect out of the Overlord mode. Overlord mode (tried on Curse IV) on the other hand felt like the previous Endless mode, but hardly different from the new Endless, with the exception of not increasing the number of bosses.

The problem I noticed that monsters got cast speed or attack speed upgrades.
You can't really dodge the abilities anymore on higher tiers because they get almost instant. Now I'll try a good build to get more into defensive earlier. Let's see if it's even possible to play higher tiers now

This!

Also whirlwind attack of (Guardian/Fallen King?) has insane movement speed :steamsad:
Stacking ice/cold didn't help, only option is using minions.

Not even sure I understand the difference between endless and overlord.
From just playing, I gathered that you get to pick, if you are fast enough (?!),... but apart from having twice the bosses in a red portal, I don't see a difference really.

Endless mode is *supposed* to be an easier experience from what I'm understanding by reading the update notes. Maybe it focuses more on building character prestige rather than getting multiple crystals from fighting The Lords?

Since there is nothing to actually spend the crystals or any ressources on, I don't think I care about those for the meantime. ;-)
Got dozens of each Crystal and millions of the other things.
The droprates for all of this is either way, WAY to inflated, or we are missing a feature that actually costs a meaningful amount of it.

Blacksmithing seems to be empty for now, apart from the starter weapons for a few toons. The skill tree also seems to have at least two additional layers that are not yet shown.

So basically endlessmode would be more rewarding right now and easier as well? Hmm. I usually don't have more than 40min time windows, so I never pushed endless for real. Kind of die on purpose after 35min or so, because I need to to other stuff. ;-)

I wish Endless/Overlord modes had better scaling for Curses. The game isn't really stimulating on the first round on lower curse difficulties, so I don't really feel motivated to drop the curse level too much to run endless/overlord -- while on Curse 6/7, it's just nigh impossible to beat even one stage of either. The boss HP and especially damage scales absurdly high. Practically everything on just Endless 1 at Curse 7 is a one or two shot from bosses, while it takes an eternity to melt through a health bar.
