Steam downloads an empty folder

Whenever I try to download Airmech it just downloads an empty folder.

How do I fix this?

Hi there,

Give this a shot. In your Steam Library, right click on AirMech and select "Properties". Next, click on the "Local Files" tab and then click on the "Verify Integrity of Game Cache". That might force Steam to re-grab all the game data files.

Hey Guys,

Just to double check, are you all on the latest version of Steam? There was a Steam patch that went out a couple days ago that fixed some issues with F2P games.

Hey Guys,

One other thing to try would be to delete the file "appmanifest_206500.acf" from your Steam\steamapps folder and see if that fixes the issues. Once you delete the file, try doing a "Verify Integratiy of Local Cache" check (Righ-click AirMech ->Properties -> Local Files).

Glad it worked, but it's worrysome you even had to do it. If anyone else has this problem, even if the above fix works, leave us a quick post saying you had this happen. If it affects enough people we need to look into it with Valve.

Delet your appache folder and restart steam and your PC by me it was helpfull

i too am having the same issue with steam downloading an empty file. i have checked my steam update & deleted the appmanifest 206500 file, neather of these have fixed the issue for me.
