Custom Matches/Playing Against My Friends Or With Them Against A.I.

I was trying to play the game (which i havnt in a long time) and I come to see this crazy new menu thats a pain to navigate. Once I finaly understood it I looked to make a custom match with a friend, but I could not find any option, untill i saw a invite friend button. I invited him, and I got lost of how to actualy start a 1v1 with him. So we tried a 2v2 against bots, I changed it to 2v2, invited him back to the game and tried to add a bot, but the only option was to invite a friend, no add ai. In 1v1 mode, i could find add ai when he was in so i thought maybe it would turn it to 2v2 if i added one, I added the ai but could not add a second. Can anybody help me with this?

so first of all strike has been streamlined for PvP the only possibility to do PvE is in custom lobbies which u find as the last option of the play tab
there u can add bots by clicking the plus symbols on the ground (difficulty gets higher the lower u go on the list)
friends can be added there or on the top player list (though i recommend setting up the bots first as it makes organising teams easier)
what is more than likely is that u cahnged it into a pvp lobby by clicking 2v2 which is the default ranked queue option

The funny thing about "unlocking" more bots to use is that you have to beat them in the solo "practice" mode first. You also would need to turn on the "uneven teams" option too.

How would i turn on the "uneven teams option"

Thanks for this. Three of us were trying to play together in some way last week and we found the interface and options extremely unintuitive and gave up. The only game type we could do was 2 of us vs 2 random Internet people. The third player could not play with or against us.

1. Click the Play Button
2. Custom
3. Create New Lobby (choose settings like 1v1, 2v2, etc.)
Now you are the host of a lobby and you can add friends, bots, etc. and even kick people/bots.

You cannot play with AI Opponents until you have "unlocked" them in the Practice mode. If you just installed the game and tried to play, you would only have 1 bot unlocked.

I noticed whilst in a party with a friend already, it won't display custom tab. You got to be on your own first. (As well as have finished the Tutorials I think(12 Games(?)))
