How To Change The Version To 51506 (No Longer Works)

THIS PROCESS NO LONGER WORKS AS OF NOVEMBER 2017.

It's Quite Simple To Return To The Latest Version Before Strike Came. Whether You Want To Use Your Units And Items That Are Unusable On Strike, Play PvE Without Wastelands, Or Just Want To Play An Earlier Version Of AirMech.

Just Follow These Steps To Change To Version 51506. I Suggest Closing The Game Also.

1. Right Click AirMech From Your Steam Library And Click On "Properties".
2. Clicked On The "BETAS" Tab (It's The 2nd Tab From The Right)
3. Click On The Box Under "Select the beta you would like to opt into:"
4. Select "legacy.51506 -"
5. Leave The Second Box Empty
6. Close The Properties Menu
7. Let The Game Update/Download Version 51506

The Name Should Be Named "AirMech Strike [legacy.51506]" And You Should Be All Set

To Revert To The Most Recent Update Follow These Steps

1. Right Click AirMech From Your Steam Library And Click On "Properties".
2. Clicked On The "BETAS" Tab (It's The 2nd Tab From The Right)
3. Click On The Box Under "Select the beta you would like to opt into:"
4. Select "NONE - Opt out of all beta programs"
5. Leave The Second Box Empty
6. Close The Properties Menu
7. Let The Game Update/Download The Latest Version

The Name Should Be Named "AirMech Strike" And You Should Be All Set

Is 51506 the only version you can go back to? I'd like to play something from 2013-2014 or so if possible.

Unfortunately yes. I will agree that I do miss some of the earlier builds but this is the farthest we can go back to (for now, I don't know how the process to allow going back more works).

Just wanted to drop a quick "thank you" here. Strike seems like a great idea if you enjoy PvP...which I don't. It's nice to be able to keep playing Legacy until Wastelands launches.

I think, but if so, only with other legacy client players.

Do i still earn Kudos in legacy? and is it just me or has the "New" version been a mistake? i hate it and it seems like "Legacy" had WAY more players

Many people have said that, but read around, read the news feed; you probably aren't seeing the full picture. This version is only part of what they are planning. If you miss the farm, the PvE, don't worry, it's coming back.
