Game is not starting via Steam!

Hey,

i tried to start Airmech via Steam and im constantly getting an Error Message."Failed to contact Steam Servers. Please try again!"

Well, i tried and tried and tried.... Also i tried to:

-Disable Firewall
-open Ports
-start as Admin
-Disable Kaspersky
-reinstall
-search for broken Data


Nothing helped. If someone has an idea, im open for it.

Most players have solved this issue by restarting Steam or their PC. One player mentioned that their firewall was causing it, and adding an exception for AirMech.exe fixed it.

Can you launch other games that use Steam login? Could just be a server down in your area.

Every game works fine. Did a whole PC Restart. Added to Exceptions.

Have this problem too, Fixed it by uninstalling this piece of ♥♥♥♥ game and playing something that works.

Steam servers were actually down a bit ago. Seems to be back up again now.

Also, since I have the chance to ask, why I am never able to find 2v2 pvp matches? It seems very fast when searching for pvp 1v1 or pve, but I never actually found a 2v2 pvp match.

May have spoke too soon. Still getting some hiccups here and there. Remember that the standalone PC version can still be used while Steam servers are down. You just need to have an email address linked to your AirMech account. Download the standalone version at http://carbongames.com/airmech/download.html

Could be a latency issue, or just that PvP is a much less popular gamemode. Coop matches cycle through very quickly, but many players are intimidated by PvP. There's also the fact that players don't see anyone connect until all four players have been found. Many players are not willing to wait more than 10 seconds before they swap to another queue.

I just bought the 10€ Bundle at Steam, and if i play standalone, i dont have the Items
